In February 2006, Dr. Poldek spent three days on a mission trip to provide dental care at the New Orleans Audubon Zoo for the residents affected by Hurricane Katrina. He and other dental clinicians toured the most devastated areas. It was a very emotional 3 days, but he was able to help countless people get the dental care they needed and deserved.

Dr. Poldek has enjoyed visiting local schools and teaching students about their Dental Health.

Poldek Family Dental has also paired up with Elgin Community College to provide our office as a clinical setting for students in the Dental Assisting Program to observe and put their skills to the test.
