Meet Dr. Poldek

For me, dentistry is the perfect blend of interpersonal communication, science, technology, and art. The profession allows me to create great relationships while tapping into all my skills and create beautiful smiles. I am a people person and love helping patients achieve the brightest and healthiest teeth of their lives. I do not stop there. I am interested in teeth for life and hope to fix any current problems as well as teach my patients how to prevent most problems in the future.

Education and Continuing Education

I began my formal education by attending Illinois State University. After graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree in 1999, I went to the University of Illinois at Chicago. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003 and continue to be excited to learn more and more about dentistry.

I want to be able to offer the broadest range of dental services to my patients. This is why I attend numerous continuing education courses and seminars from professionals in all areas of oral healthcare including orthodontics, implants, and 3D imaging. I have taken a number of orthodontic courses through the United States Dental Institute. I am also a member of the CEREC® Study Club Chicago Chapter and certified to provide Invisalign® clear aligners.

Outside the Office

I am originally from Ancona, IL, in the heart of the state. I have been happily settled down in Schaumburg, IL, with my wife, Meghan, and our two children. We have a daughter, Katie, and a son, Tommy. It has been great raising our kids in the Chicagoland area. I really appreciate any family time I can get.  In my spare time I enjoy working out (Crossfit, yoga, bike riding and running), going to concerts and entertaining my family and friends.
